The Parent Curriculum

Aligned to the same Foundations, Ascent, and Summit structure as the youth journey, the parent curriculum gives you a clear role at every stage — without requiring you to become a coach.
Foundations
Your role: The Listener
Your child is defining their leadership identity. Your job is to ask, not answer. We give you the questions.

Common Questions
What Parents Ask Most
The journey is self-paced, but most participants complete one Waypoint every 2–3 weeks. Captain's Table sessions are 60 minutes every two weeks. Total time commitment is roughly 2–3 hours per week.
No. The program is designed for your child to work through independently. Your role as a parent is to reinforce the language and concepts at home — not to attend or manage sessions.
The Emerging Leaders Journey is designed for students ages 13–18. The Leadership Journey is for participants 16 and older, including college students and young professionals.
Parent visibility into Basecamp is available on request. We recommend discussing progress directly with your child using the conversation prompts in the parent guides — it's a more powerful reinforcement tool than passive monitoring.
The journey is self-paced. There's no penalty for moving slowly. Captain's Table sessions and the Basecamp community provide natural accountability — most participants find the cohort keeps them moving without parental pressure.
Not currently. The parent curriculum is delivered through guides and touchpoints rather than a live community. A parent cohort experience is on our roadmap for future program cycles.
